Role Models

Kaisa Leka

I’m a Finnish comic artist and graphic designer living in a small town called Porvoo, near the sea. I love travel, vegan food, books and meditation.

My comics have been published in several Finnish magazines, but my main passion is creating my own books.

My both legs were amputated in 2002 because of a serious malformation. Prosthetic feet have given me a new freedom to enjoy life and excercise, and I’ve done several long bike trips that wouldn’t have been possible with my old feet. I’ve chosen not to hide my prosthetics as I feel that there’s nothing to hide, nothing to be ashamed of.

If you’d like to see what’s happening in my life right now you can like me on Facebook and follow me on Instagram.

Aaron WHEELZ Fotheringham

Aaron started riding at skateparks at the age of 8 when his older brother Brian, a BMXer, said he should drop in. He had been going to the park with Brian and their dad for weeks, but Aaron would just watch from behind the fence. The first time was scary, and he fell hard, but he was never one to give up just because it wasn’t easy. So he tried again and from then on he was hooked.
